Christopher T. Fischer

Christopher T. Fischer began his legal career working as a law clerk for several notable persons. These individuals include former United States Attorneys Christopher Andreoff, Brian Legghio, Ken Corbett, in addition to the well-known criminal defense attorney Neil Fink, former State Senator and current Macomb County Prosecutor  Peter J. Lucido, and Macomb County Circuit Judge Joseph Toia. Mr. Fischer was admitted to the bar in 1994, where soon after he worked for over ten years as an attorney at Lucido & Fischer, P.C. After ten years of hard work and gaining a variety of legal experience and understanding, Mr. Fischer made the decision in 2004 to start his own firm with the help of Daniel Garon, Vincent Hoyumpa, and Rachel Rancilio, now the Honorable Rachel Rancilio, forming what is now Fischer Garon Hoyumpa.

 

For over 25 years, Mr. Fischer has familiarized himself with a wide range of law, including family law, criminal law, and license restoration. Mr. Fischer has extensive experience handling divorce proceedings, custody and support matters, as well as any other related family matter. He understands the sensitive nature surrounding this area of law and wholeheartedly devotes his time and understanding to each client. Mr. Fischer regularly handles felonies, misdemeanors, civil infractions, and expungements. He also focuses his practice on appeals to the Driver’s License Appeal Division. Mr. Fischer practices within the Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne County areas.

 

Mr. Fischer currently resides in Macomb County, with his wife Suzan Fischer, who is a clinical therapist, owning her own clinic in the city of Mount Clemens, and his two school-aged children. He is very passionate about sports and enjoys playing golf in his spare time. He currently coaches youth sports and enjoys traveling with his family. Mr. Fischer is the president of the St. Mary School Booster Club and often spends his time coaching their basketball teams. He is also a Clinton Valley youth baseball coach.

Daniel N. Garon

Daniel N. Garon was admitted to the bar in 1989 and worked independently for over 15 years. Having gained a vast and varied legal knowledge, in 2004 Mr. Garon joined with Christopher Fischer, Vincent Hoyumpa, and Judge Rachel Rancilio, forming what is now Fischer Garon Hoyumpa.

 

For over 30 years, Mr. Garon has taken on a variety of major criminal and civil matters, with significant trial experience in handling felonies ranging from Murder and all Capital Felonies to misdemeanor cases of all degrees. He also handles civil disputes related to business law, breach of contract claims, personal injury, auto-accident, and similar matters. Regardless of the type of matter presented to him, Mr. Garon devotes his time and expertise to each client, offering legal advice, support and options to his clients to help them get through difficult situations.

 

Mr. Garon currently resides in Macomb County with his family, enjoys an occasional round of golf and boating with his children on the Great Lakes. Mr. Garon devotes a substantial amount of time raising funds and participating with Special Olympics of Michigan and Water Warriors, a civic fund-raising partner of SOMI.

Vincent P. Hoyumpa

Vincent P. Hoyumpa began his legal career as a law clerk to current State Senator, Peter J. Lucido. After being admitted to the bar in 1996, he continued his career at Lucido & Fischer P.C. as an associate attorney. For seven years, Mr. Hoyumpa consistently devoted his time to meet the client’s needs and zealously advise them of their legal rights. After gaining experience and expanding his legal knowledge, Mr. Hoyumpa decided to start his own firm with the help of Christopher Fischer, Daniel Garon, and Judge Rachel Rancilio, forming what is now Fischer Garon Hoyumpa.

 

For almost 25 years, Mr. Hoyumpa has successfully worked on a variety of cases ranging from civil and criminal law. His practice focuses on contract law, corporate law/business law, real estate, personal injury, probate matters (estates, preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney), as well as felonies, misdemeanors, and civil infractions. Mr. Hoyumpa practices law throughout the Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne County areas.

 

Mr. Hoyumpa currently resides in Macomb County with his wife and four kids. He is Chief Operating Officer/General Counsel for Priority Waste, LLC, the fastest growing waste company in the Midwest and is a licensed real estate broker. In his spare time, Mr. Hoyumpa enjoys traveling with his four children to their soccer tournaments, where he also acts as Vice President to the United Soccer League.

Erin M. Fogel

Erin M. Fogel began her legal career working as an assistant at the Offices of Fischer Garon Hoyumpa at the age of 21 while she was still a student at Michigan State University.  Ms. Fogel continued to work at the firm throughout her undergraduate program until she graduated from MSU in May of 2018 with her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology.

 

Ms. Fogel then was accepted and enrolled into the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.  She then continued to work at the firm throughout her law school education, now as a law clerk.  During this time, Ms. Fogel also clerked for the Honorable Rachel Rancilio of the Macomb County Circuit Court.

 

Ms. Fogel, upon her law school graduation, then sat for and passed the Michigan Bar exam on her first try in July of 2021.  She was then subsequently sworn in by Judge Rancilio and Chief Macomb County Circuit Judge James Biernat Jr to practice law in the State of Michigan.

 

During her tenure of work at the firm and her clerkship, Ms. Fogel was exposed to a myriad type of legal issues.   She has concentrated her practice in the fields of Family law, Criminal law and Driver’s License Restoration.

 

Ms. Fogel grew up in Macomb County, Michigan where, in addition to receiving her primary education, she was passionate about sports, literature and travel.  When not working at the firm, Ms. Fogel devotes her time to athletics, her parish of St. Peter Mount Clemens, and various activities associated with Michigan State University.
